Still not sure if I will ever enjoy packing (does anyone??!!) but I think I didn’t do too bad a job so I’d like to remember what I packed for this trip and whether it was useful or not.  You never know, maybe this might also be useful for others.  Here goes…

  • 45-55L Deuter rucksack (woman’s specific)
  • pacsafe day bag (fits the netbook and also converts to a rucksack)
  • passport
  • dollars cash / 2 x credit cards / 2 x debit cards / 2 x Travelex money cards / 2 x US$50 travellers cheques
  • print out of flight itenerary, first hostel booking, travel insurance

  • LP SE Asia on a Shoestring guidebook (pages cut out as needed and the rest left in Bangkok)

  • journal (blank pages so I could write/scribble/draw as I liked)

  • blank Muji postcards that you can stick things on to make your own postcards
